It's Baking Time!

Do you love sweet and savory on the go snacks with easy preparation? This recipe for fall apple cinnamon bread will fill you right up. The prep time is about 30 minutes and cook time is around 55 minutes.

This sweet and savory bread is a nice snack for online learning. You could bake it during a break and go to a class or do some work then come back and eat it during another class. It’s like fall was made into bread; it’s so simple. If you’re a busy bee then this is also perfect for an on the go snack. But, don't forget to keep it in an airtight container so it doesn’t go bad.

Anna Grace Anderson, freshman, says, “It has the perfect texture, it adds a nice crunch with the apples.”

Maybe you’re a student athlete with very little time, or just a student and you’re taking hard classes. “I definitely recommend it to anyone, the other thing is it’s not physically very big. So it is easier to transport around. This is a great on the go snack, the apples also add a bit of nutrition,.” says Anderson. With the amount of sugar in the bread it would be recommended to have it during the day or on the go somewhere. Anderson states, “It would be great during class in a container and eat during a break. It’s a nice sweet treat, but not too sweet, on the savory side as well.”

Even though we are going back to school that doesn’t mean you can’t spend some time in the kitchen. With school starting up and schedules getting busy it can be hard to find time to spend with your family. This is a perfect opportunity to get some bonding time with a sibling or even friends that you haven’t seen in a while. It is good for people to feel comfortable in the kitchen, even if you don’t cook or if it’s just for fun.
