The Kilt Tradition of the Men's XC Team originated in the 97-98 cross country season with the release of Braveheart. The tradition faded as the years went on and eventually completely vanished. The tradition resurfaced in 2015 and has continued since. I decided to take a deep dive into how the tradition started by speaking to members of the original team and to see how people wearing the kilts now continue the tradition.
