“Escape from Tarkov: Arena” is a brand new competitive shooter game set in the Tarkov Universe. The game perfectly combines the hardcore elements of Tarkov with the more arcade-like and fast-paced feel of games like “Counter-Strike” and “Call of Duty”.
It features 5v5 Ranked and Unranked Games, 2v2 Tournaments, and custom private lobbies. Arena was made for ESPORTS and contained eight maps on launch with an additional 10 planned for 2024.
Tarkov has become famous for its hardcore survival mechanics and prides itself on realistic mechanics with an advanced medical system and over 700 real-world weapons fully modeled and customizable. Tarkov boasts the best gunplay system, being a must-play for anyone who is into competitive shooters.
Arena is receiving new updates monthly with the latest 1.5 updates expanding upon the preset system and balancing the game for players of all skill levels, not just “Escape From Tarkov” veterans.
Players using the Arena preset system have many options for customizable loadouts with all their favorite weapons.
The game features around 100 presets split across four classes: Assault, CQB, Scout, and Marksman, each divided into 3 tiers for ranked modes to scratch the itch for every player. Arena gives players a wide variety of weapons to choose from with each kit having unique armor, grenades, and weapons. The game follows a “War Thunder” tech tree. For example, in the CQB Class, you unlock a shotgun subclass that you can expand and get XP for by winning matches and getting kills.
Arena has a preset for everyone and its fast-paced gameplay offers a good balance for people who are tired of the unending grind and don't have many hours each day to invest in gaming. With constant updates and loads of planned content, Arena is a great game to play with friends and enjoy a quick round in.
