That Creepy Chick
Awake scheming in bed ,
She thinks louder than she talks.
She holds conversations in her head
Lost in thought as she walks.
Her eyes dart as she leers.
Like a sly spy seeing all
If never he would fall
was greatest among her fears.
She planned, prepared, prayed.
Meaningless plans for things never to come
If only the bridge could be made
Her brain smart, her heart dumb.
Her heart as warm as a coat pocket,
when he is stuffed inside
She flies away like a model rocket,
When she runs away and hides.
She can plan and plot, all the time longer
But for us to ever be,
If her head is wrong and heart is wronger,
She’ll never be with me.
